We were challenged to make a 90 second short film to be entered into the DepicT competition. The short film that we made was about 4 friends, one of them called James whom is sat on the end, as the story unfolds it turns out that James had died over half a year ago and his ghost is still lingering with his friends. At the end, James' ghost finds peace and he disappears from the scene.

Camera use:

In this scene the group of friends are walking over to a bench with James at the back, excluding him from the group and making him like like an outsider. We used a following shot from an over the shoulder perspective as it allowed us to show the positioning of the characters, a straight on shot was also used to show the normality of the situation. We then led onto a long shot, showing the whole body and the outfits of the actors and establishing the scene.
