Post production PDF

Talent Releases (Below)

Post Production PDF (Below)

Three weeks ago we began a project to make a 90 second short film to be sent into the DepicT competition. This project has been tasking in the pre, during and post production work as we have had to do things that we were not used to and had little experience in doing.

In the pre-production, we had to draw out storyboards, do location recces, write a script and the hardest part of all, come up with an idea for a short film. With each actor whom took part, we had to do a talent release (as seen above) and with each location we had to do a recce where we took pictures (as seen below) and a location release. e had to email the police to gain permission to film in public, but our teacher sent the email for the class this time.

The filming spanned over the process of a few days and we had to do many takes of the scenes. We had fun while filming, but we were efficient and we finished the filming relatively early.

In week one, we began to produce our pre-production work, we wrote up story boards, location releases and we formulated an idea for a short (as seen below), creating the script too. It was late on in the week that we had began filming.

The second week consisted of shooting and re-shooting the short, trying different angles and trying multiple different approaches to filming. We had finished filming towards the end of the week and we then began editing which continued into the third week.

We finished the editing and had finally uploaded the short onto YouTube in the third week.
