Low budget film making: Clerks analysis

Low budget film making: A low budget film is a motion picture that is shot on a limited budget, this budget being considered low depends on the country that it is in.

What aspects of low budget film making are evident in clerks (Kevin Smith, 1994):
In clerks it has quite a few features of low budget movies. Clerks relies on extended scenes of dialogue to keep the audience interested, it does this as it does not have any special effects and it is roughly edited, due to monetary constraints. Clerks has very few settings, a common feature of low budget movies, it also has a small amount of actors, one being the director himself. The movie was primarily shot in the shop that director worked in during the days, because of this they could only shoot between the hours of 10:30pm-5:30am, the movie was shot within 21 days.
